Opal was dumped, emaciated, at a livestock auction in May of 2023,  having recently lost a foal. She came to us with fellow broodmare Sedona, but, unlike Sedona, she is not yet accepting of human touch, so we are taking it slowly making friends. She is very curious and seems to want to learn about the people world, so we look forward to learning more about her as she starts to feel better, gain strength, and begin to trust.
