Adopting isn’t the only way to give these horses amazing lives. We have so many opportunities for you to get involved in a way that fits your life and also serves the horses well.
Donate
Donations are the only reason we can save horses lives and prepare them for their dream homes. It costs over $2000 per month to keep our rescue running, and your money goes directly to covering food, supplements, farrier services, vet visits, and board for our horses.
Volunteer
We are 100% volunteer run. Mountain Shadows hopes to not only help horses, but also educate people. Volunteers are responsible for cleaning and feeding and loving on the horses, but also have the opportunity to learn groundwork from our Head Trainers.
Attend an Event
Attend a clinic or class to improve your knowledge on horses. All proceeds go towards the rescue.
Sponsor a Horse
Some of our horses are lucky enough to have guardian angels, but there are still a few looking for theirs!
Foster a Horse
Sometimes we have horses that just need some space to heal or grow, and some extra one-on-one attention. If you have the resources and would like to foster a horse, tap below!
