Meet June! This beautiful 16-year-old mare arrived in June 2026 as an owner surrender. Her previous family loved her deeply and went above and beyond for her. Given changing circumstances, they chose to place her in our care so she can receive the specialized management she needs for her next chapter. As she settles in, our top priority is her comfort and health.

We will ask our veterinary team to conduct a comprehensive evaluation once her quarantine is complete. We are paying extra close attention to her left side – we’re concerned about some signs typically associated with a ligament condition. But she will need a full diagnostic workup to help us understand exactly what’s up and what options may be available for keeping her comfortable and as pain-free as possible.

June will require ongoing expenses, including:

– Targeted joint maintenance + continuing her regimen of specialized supplements
– Custom farrier care to support her conformation and comfort
